Dana Levy has been designing luxury costume jewellery and accessories for over 10 years. Dana’s love and natural instinct for jewellery design stems from her family heritage within the jewellery industry. Her grandfather, who was born in Persia and eventually settled in Jerusalem, established the family roots within the industry as a diamond and precious stones dealer. He travelled the world supplying exquisite gemstones to many.
As a child, Dana enjoyed spending long summers with her grandparents in the spiritual city of Jerusalem. She would spend many afternoons watching her grandfather at work and helping him sort gemstones in sizes and colours using his fine elegant jewellery tools. Each year, Dana also received beautiful original pieces of jewellery as birthday gifts from her grandfather, each of which incorporated his chosen gemstones. Many of these special pieces influence Dana’s collections today.
After completing an art foundation course at Central St. Martins in London, Dana relocated to Jerusalem and completed a Fine Arts degree at the Bezalel Academy of Art & Design. It was while there, immersed in Jerusalem's rich spirituality, beauty, history and culture, that her inspiration for designing jewellery and accessories was truly established.
Dana’s unique jewellery lines are inspired by the exotic sights and traditions from the Middle East. The pieces are handmade. Each piece uses the highest quality materials exclusively sourced from around the world. They incorporate beautiful symbolic mystical charms, amulets and talismans that have spiritual meanings. Each piece is crafted with love and attention to detail.
Dana Levy’s designs have been featured in many fashion magazines worldwide including Vogue, Glamour, Harpers Bazaar, Grazia, Red, Us Weekly and Elle to name just a few. Her collections are also firm favourites with fashion editors, stylists and celebrities alike.
